Vegan Box October

My awesome and super nice brother got me the August Vegan Box for my birthday (thanks!) and I liked it so much that I decided to order it myself.

The Vegan Box works like every other order-box format: every month receive get a small selection of things to try (e.g. tea, whiskey or in this case vegan products) that are sent to your house.

I decided to do a monthly post of what’s inside the box, so that you can get some insight into new products without having to order them. But if you’re interested in buying ones for yourself, you can do so here if you live inside of Germany. If not, have a look for a vegan box in your country (for example Here is a vegan box if you reside in the US).

This is what was in the Vegan Box October (big one): Read the rest of this entry

Vegan Wednesday #2

vegan wednesday

My second Vegan Wednesday! Have you seen the board of the last one? If not, then click here!

Well, what delicious vegan food did I eat today? 😉

Breakfast

Chia-Pudding with macadamia milk, cinnamon, vanilla and blueberries.

I tried this recipe à la Veganista(German cookbook) + chia Seeds for the first time today.

I don’t know if my self-made macadamia milk was too watery, but somehow the pudding ended up being kind of slimy. Next time I will try it with bought plant-based milk, just to see if the consistency will become creamier. But my boyfriend and I liked it plenty, anyway 🙂

Besides, chia seeds are super healthy! They contain more than 20 percent protein, omega-3-fatty-acids, antioxidants, calcium, a lot of fiber and many vitamins (E, A, B1, B2, B3, B8).
